A second mortgage at 0% interest with no periodic payments and a 30-year term, paired with an NH Housing first mortgage. Since August 2024 it is non-forgivable: it is due in full on sale, refinance, bankruptcy, when the home is no longer the primary residence, or at 30 years.

Who qualifies: Must finance through an NH Housing mortgage program with an approved lender; the bond-financed First/First Plus program is for first-time buyers. Income limits vary by program. Homebuyer education available through NH Housing.
